Innerspring mattress in Perth??

Anyone know where to get an innersping mattress in Perth? Preferrably NOR, Malaga/Balcatta would be awesome...

Gotta fit a 2005 Jayco Dove queen bed.

1900L x 1450W x 100H.

Gonna ring around tomorrow but I am time poor and working all long weekend so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Haha, I was doing paperwork and needed a break!! That's EST though....

I called Follow Me today, Theresa put me onto Koala Bedding. The smallest they do is 170mm high, may be a bit high for the Jayco. But they can do a good foam one, waiting for a quote but suggested it will be ~$300.

The bedding shop near me said the same thing, they also suggested a foam one.

Then I rang Jayco in Maddington, $400 and 3 in stock. 100mm mattress with 40mm foamy stuff on top. Custom made for them apparently.

I would want to try a good foam one before committing but for an extra ~$100 I think I will go the innerspring.

Hi nab, we got one from FortyWinks at Cockburn. Ours is a double, single sided, 150mm high. My wife rang around and they were the only ones who had any idea what she was talking about when she asked about an inner spring mattress for a camp trailer. I think they had it made so should be able to get a queen size one. Paid $380.

Got a quote from Made to Measure Mattresses, delivered to Perth was $640.

I ended up getting the Jayco one for $400. It is firm but very comfy according to the inlaws that have been using it for the last 3 weeks. I hope they haven't Christened it...

Just went to close it up for the first time with the new mattress and I broke the rivets on the side latch! Repaired that, adjusted the latch and it closes OK, but now there is a ~5mm gap between the body and the rubber seal.... It has a woollen underlay on it but no blankets/sheets.

Will try an locate some sort or extended rubber. Any ideas?

hi, run another rubber seal on the body of the trailer.
Clarke Rubber will have some thing you can stick in place.
Or your local Trailer place, from when they do butterfly top type builders trailers.
Or your local Camper trailer shop.
Just have to  place the new seal, so that the existing one sits on it when the top closes down.
If the existing seal is anchored to the body and not the lid.
Put the new seal on the lid so they sit together when closed.
Should take up the gap nicely.

Cheers for that. The existing seal is attached to the lid. I can not mount a seal on the body as there is on a couple mm clearance at the ends where the beds slide out. Hmmm.

Sikaflex some neoprene strip to the existing seal to take up the gap.

Where can I get this neoprene strip? Clark Rubber?

Is that the foamy stuff with sticky back or a different type? My Google search shows heaps of styles, may have to look a bit more.

Clarke Rubber, Marine chandlers like Whitworth's.  Purple Pig.  Maybe a Caravan repairers.

You might want to find out what size the original seal was first.
Compared to what you have now.
