Hi, thinking of heading to bear gully tomorrow for the night. Do you guys think there will be vacant spots??

Given it is school holidays and a weekend you'd be lucky to get a spot.
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

You could try Kendalls camping area in the Rubicon State Forest, it's not near the beach so you might have more of a chance getting a spot.

We don't need toilets or water etc just want a quiet quick getaway

Just looked on the national parks website. There is spots available in the upper yarra reservoir. Has anyone camped there??

I went past Kendals last weekend on the way to check out Rubicon falls and it looked fairly quiet. About 6 or 7 in Kendals A and 4 or 5 in Kendals B. You may get lucky.
