After some advice about a dog ramp please.

We intend on taking our dog with us soon on a short trip to see how she goes.  (A test trip for our big trip in 2015.) She is a Border Collie and is starting to show signs of soreness in her front legs in the morning and we think it is from her jumping on and off our deck, which she loves to do when fetching her ball. We will be carrying her in the rear of our cruiser, which has a cargo barrier, and I made a wooden ramp but it moves a lot when she runs up and down it and this puts her off a bit.  Just wondering if anyone has a better idea for a ramp.  It needs to fold up to slide sideways into the rear.   Thanks for any suggestions,  Kevin

If the dog can jump still maybe put in a harness instead of a collar and when it jumps up and down grab the harness as a bit of an assist to lessen the impact of landing

Go down to a motor bike shop & buy 1 folding bike ramp , @ $100 should sort it out

Thanks for your replies.  I found some old wood cornice in the shed so I fitted some along the side of the ramp and it worked a treat.  Nice and solid and our dog walks up and down easily. Now to get her use to waiting when we open the rear doors until I put the ramp down!  Kevin
