I agree with Navara04 looks like a Blue-throated Conure (Ochre-marked Parakeet).
Native of the rain forests in Brasil.
Classed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List due to forrest degradation
Value around $500.
Make awesome pets & its not native to AU.
Pity your so far away I've got the perfect cage, a few years ago we had a Nanday Conure.
Amazingly he suddenly got super powers and bit his cage lock off when we were at the hospital.
"Theres no way it was the workers out side our back fence that day"...so their boss said   >:(
