Hello

We plan a 6-month trip in the year 2014 from Perth to Darwin with our family. We have been to West Australia in 2009 for one month and decided, that we would have to come back for a longer period   :D

We will ship our Land Rover from Switzerland to Perth an think about buying an offroad trailer for this half a year. If you have any recommendations to us what kind of trailer would be best and how we get to it in Perth when we arrive in February 2014 we would be glad to hear some advice! It has to fit a family of 4 and should bring us to all the trails we find along the way...

Cheers Guido

How exciting and welcome to a great forum. Maybe during that time you could jump on one of th potential Myswag meets. Tell us a little about your landrover?

Our landrover is 13 years old and we travelled with it to Iceland, Marokko, Italy,...

We built some simple boxes inside to sleep on top of them, which was quite comfortable. But now we have two kids (4 and 7 years old) and we prefer a tent to sleep in... And the distances we travel get smaller - instead of north africa we camp in the Swiss mountains  :D
