Time to hit the road

Just wondering if anyone has a Galtuff CT, and if you've had any issues?

Mace

Had a really good look over one last year. They seemed to be put together pretty well.  A clone of our Ezytrail, although with a smaller canvas area, which on reflection, is not necessarily a bad thing.

There dont appear to be any in the "Who made your" thread.

Hi Mace, is the Ezytrail Chinese? We actually bought a Galtuff last year and have had nothing but issues with it! Just looking for others who may be in the same boat as us. It's almost impossible to get in contact with them, I think they know how bad their product is, but when we do finally get in contact we will be looking for compensation for all the money we've spent fixing the lemon of  a CT!!  >:(

Ezytrail are assembled in Bayswater, yes they use chinese componentry. They are identical to Galtuff,  Mars, etc. We have had a good run  with ours, no major issues.  We went for the Eztrail as they seemed to be a bigger operation operating out of a larger factory (even tho there were a few language issues).

I guess we went into our purchase open minded, thinking that there may be issues that we would have to fix, given the budget price. I was prepared to have to spend an extra grand on follow up work if need be.  Havnt had to do that yet, after 18 months and about 10,000k (except for $20 of new  clips for the tornau cover straps).

Would be interested to hear of your issues.  Galtuff from memory were being assembled & sold by a father/son combination somewhere out of the SE Suburbs.
