wilpena pound

looking at travelling from Melb along limestone coast (SA) then up to Wilpena Pound just wondering what weather conditions will be like???

I was in Wilpena in March this year and had some hot days around 34 degrees, the nights were nice at about 15 to 20 degrees but it can change quickly.  Along the limestone coast the heat should have gone by then but you can have extremes at both ends of the scale, if the westerlies come in it can be bl#$dy cold.  In general March is the better time to travel in that area.
