It could be a bit squeezy trying to fit in with the slab.  Teabag has stayed on one of these sites in his Jayco.  He should be able to tell you if you will fit or not.

It would be a really tight fit with a 12ft camper. Depending on which site will depend on how tight....Give the park your rough measurements and ask if it will fit. My Jayco with awning fitted fine but wasn't much room left......Great caravan park though.....

You will find them really obliging...just call them with your approx measures and they will do their best to find somewhere to fit you in. But I thik you may miss out on an ensuite site.

For every situation you have 3 choices. Live with it, change it, or leave it. But only pick one

It could depend on which Big4 at Airlie Beach? There are 2.
I highly recommend Big4 Adventure Whitsunday (aka Frog Park) stayed there Easter 2011 great place for the kids or theres Airlie Cove Resort and Van Park which can also allow pets if you request but I'm sure also lives up to the Big4 standard.

Yes its the big4 adventure park we are going to, I booked up last year and have an ensuite site but am worried that I will not fit on comfortably without tripping over concrete slabs etc.

I have recently emailed them asking the same thing as we are heading that way in October and this is their response in regards to the ensuite suits at Big4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort

"The ensuite powered sites all have elevated concrete slabs on them so it does depend on the way you camper trailer folds out. The site compose of approximately 2.5meters of gravel and 2.5meters of slab in width and they are all around 30 foot in length. If this option does not suit, we do have powered grass sites which are often better for the camper trailers. We can, when making you booking try to get you as close as possible to the amenities."

Hope this helps you decide.

When we went last year they asked for the size of out camper trailer to make sure we would fit as some sites a bigger than others. We we camped in a powered grass site.

Great spot and the kids loved it, but the mozzies can get a little bad.

We stayed in the powered site. Amenities were always spotless. Great time by all. and plenty of room at front for 2 cars

I have now changed from an ensuite to a powered grass site, better being safe than sorry.

This is a great place to camp.  Kida are really well catered for.  Amenities were absolutely spotless and staff were friendly.  I could not get over how well maintained the place was in regards to lawns and gardens ... immaculate.

You will have a great time there.  Try not to get in trouble doing backflips on the giant pillow!!! >:D
