Getting Old

Well I have to say I have well and truely crossed over to fraternity of the "GEE MISTER YOU ARE TOO OLD".

I was driving home last night and noticed a ford ute a few cars in front of me and had a quick glance at the rego plates and looked away.  Then something clicked and I had to look back to make sure what my brain had processed was actually what I had seen.  Yep it sure was what the brain was telling me.....

Now I thought that the powers that be in this instance VicRoads ensured that the requests made by the public for personalised plates was somewhat controlled.   In saying that you cant ask for a word or combo that could be inturpreted as something that the general public would raise and eye brow too.

LUV The number number plate that this person was sporting on their car was in my opinion questionable and is made up of the two words at the start and end of this sentence. VAG

Could you image the conversation you would have with your mother if you rolled up with this combo at her place.  My kids would have been asking me what that one meant if they had seen it in the traffic.

Anyway I must be to old to be hip any more as I saw it as just vulgar

Don't care how old you are ... I think all boys Luv Gav!  Yeah I put it backwards on porpoise ... They probably used that word as 'McCrackin' was just a wee bit too large for licence plates.  Personally, I don't think there is an issue.  Gee I hope I can get one that says Luv Pns now.  I've seen Lurv69 before so I can't see that they have any censoring issues at Main Roads. 

I guess it's in the eye of the beer-holder to decide.

There is no problem. All you have to do is contact Vicroads and let them know. If they find it offensive they will pull it. We often ring up when we impound or  intercept a car which we think might be questionable. I.e. brglar =burglar and others

I saw a plate on a Harley ridden by some guy wearing so call " colors " over his leather jacket....some religious rubbish I think were their name :-)

Any way the plate was a WA plate with the additional lettering of NKER

Have to give full points  to him for getting it through the number plate system

When I lived in Darwin, I'd see one every day that was AEIOU ... her last name was Vowel ... made no sense till I found out.  Often it's meaningful to the owner and senseless to everyone else.

If I got one, I'd make it KEK9 or TAL69 ...
