Was at the wreckers yesterday and found a Eurovox rooftop DVD player that I grabbed from the front counter for $100.
Done some web checks last night and found I will have to buy a unlock code for it but can enter 1111 into it to run and check it for 3 minutes. So made up a temp. wiring loom, entered  the temp. code and it fired straigh up...................with a great big Mitsubishi emblem , so I know what it came out of. But I dont know if I can live with a Mitsubishi badge popping up everytime its fired up.
So Toyota/Nissan/Ford/Holden owners, should I or shouldnt I?

Maybe contact Eurovox and ask if there is a way to flash the firmware...

The hardest decision you'll have to make is how are you going to cope cutting the roof liner of your land cruiser believe me it takes a while but worth it now we can have quiet in the back seat.

So I rang up the supplier in Melb. and enquired about re-flashig it to a Toyota emblem. $60.....money well spent I think. Shame the Mrs dosnt see it this way

Unfortanatley no, thats another $22. Their reasoning is that while ever I own it, the code is stored in a data base free for me to get anytime again...............
