I love the people you meet on this forum and the generosity that they show...

I posted that I needed a little maintenance done on my camper trailer and asked if anyone was able to help me at the upcoming SA Meet over the long weekend as I am a bit of a non handy man.

I had an e-mail last night followed by a phone call this morning with an offer from tonyo that he could help me out and get things all fixed up before we leave for the Meet.

I drove up to his house with my camper this afternoon and in no time he had my two maintenance issues sorted out for me, and on top gave me a tour of his latest mods on his camper trailer, as well as giving my son and I an insight into his next two projects - a solar panel which automatically follows the sun and a remote control boat mounting system for the roof of his Land Rover - nothing short of genius.  My son Oliver and I were just in awe!

So THANK YOU tonyo for your generosity and sharing your ingenuity - it is very much appreciated!!   :cup:

There are still plenty of good people in this world.  I had a similar experience last Friday, when I asked on the Pajero forum for anybody wanting to off load a cargo barrier.  Not only did I get one for $220, but the guy helped me fit it and then showed me all his great mods to his Paj.  I could have spent all day talking to him, he was so generous with his time and experience.

As I said, still plenty of good people like Tonyo out there, particularly on the 4wd related forums.

Cheers
