There's a well known member on Overlander who calls his a 'hard topped camper' - seems to work well for him other than the gentle ribbing

 I guess after reading all the thread response, you could go for hard core bragging rights by selling The 4x4 and camper and replacing it with a Camel and a portable Yurt Hut.

Off course you would have to upgrade the camel by putting a " Myswag Sticker" on it's rump.

We are thinking of expanding our camping options and comforts to include a hard floor, hard top, no canvas camper with aluminium walling.  Not old enough to be a caravanner though

Wasnt there a "Winebago User" category before the upgrade for above 5000 or whatever posts?

I reckon that Hard Top/walled  Camper User covers many other options.
