Gday,

I have been watching MySwag for some time and have finally purchased a CT. We bought an Ezy Trail hard floor from Melbourne. We wanted a hard floor CT and couldnt afford some of the more expensive models. With a few tweaks the Ezy Trail will a really great camper. We currently drive a 2000 MK Triton which has been the length and breadth of OZ several times over, so with a couple of young kids under 4 the CT is going to come in handy.

We took it on a quick run down the road(Mary River) after seasoning the canvas(not one leak) and had a great weekend.

I intend on mounting a CUB style storage box on the front for a fridge, using a 4 burner kitchen cook top for the kitchen. With our set up with the car we will change the trailers wheels to match the car and mount the CT spare on a swing away arm like the car has. The second fridge is mounted in the car. Once stationary we are going to have a solar set up of around 140W to charge two 100ah batteries(one for each fridge)

I am acutly aware of the CT' build history and will not comment on the issue.

This years trips will include Lorella Springs,Lawn Hill,Limmen NP,Bullo River, part of the Kimberly and plenty of weekend trips.

Cheers

PB

Welcome PB.

You're right, youre not Lost.

We love our ezytrail 2! Ive seen the workshop and watched them being built. Fine for us.

its been said before on variuous posts, problem with 3 or 4 burner stoves is actually getting a pot or pan to fit on each burner simultaneously.  2 is fine in most circumstances.

Have a great time here.

I know we will have some trouble with a 4 burner but it will just like the home one.

As for the travel list when I work shift 4 days out of 9 and get 6 weeks leave (not meaning to brag!) its pretty easy

I'm not lost. I am exploring.
