QLD rego checking

Hi all just a helpfull link for those of us in QLD who are now suffering with lack of knowledge when it comes to knowing if or when your's or someones elses rego is due or if its been paid. Like me when i went to borrow my parents box trailer they couldnt remember if they'd paid the rego on it as its last stickers was last years. So after a quick google search i came across this qld gov site that you can enter a vin or rego number to check the rego.

Apparantly it is needed because Qld no longer issues rego stickers and people have been clogging up the call centre checking because they have forgotten

As long as it turns up (the mail, and their computer system that sends out the mail, does fail from time to time).  If it doesn't turn up, then, now, you no longer  have a sticker staring you in the face saying it's out of date.  First warning you get is a policeman pulling you over.

or in my situation with parents with bad memories and borrowing their trailer its easy to check and not get in trouble.
