Well Guys we are keen to an extended trip both down and back. There was a fair bit of discussion at Fraser as some of us a keen to attend the Meet.

My idea:

Moranbah
Birdsville (including Bigred)
Innamincka
Cameron Corner
Lyndhurst (maybe head north to Lake Eyre for a night)
Orroroo
Jamestown - National Meet
Mt Gambier
Follow the Great Ocean Road
Then central Vic / Nsw back to Qld.

We are looking at taking 4 weeks off. But you dont have to do the hole trip with us if you only want to do part if your on a tighter time frame.

Anyway that is a brief plan but not set in stone so there is room to more.

Cheers

Hope this helps,

We'll join in for some discussion on whether we can align for some of your trip Brett as we are planning and extended trip around the national meet too. How long are you planning to take between home and getting to the meet? We were thinking to try and squeeze a visit to the rock as well as some of the areas you mention in a big loop also taking approximately 4 weeks.

Will keep on eye on your plans. Should be a great trip and looking forward to catching up for some of it with you and whoever else joins in.

Cheers,
Ketsi

We could hook up after the meet. Mrs Snow and I are planning to return to Syd via the Great Ocean rd, then across the Queenscliff/Sorrento ferry to eastern Vic, then north.

Your coming past several members houses from where the ferry lands to melb... make a night or day to have a meetup for drinks if you have time...

Laith my trip has changed some what from the first post. Going via Alice Springs with Ketsi now. But we will arrive in Lyndurst on the 26th for two nights then off to Brachina Gorge for two nights before arriving at Wilmington on Friday 30th.
