They had a rust problem in the plenum, but that one looks OK..... :cup:

Not just the ol spaghetti jets either, HQ and onwards in the Holden's, XA and onwards in the Fords.

You sort of expect, or at least hope, the designers would've considered those plenums would trap a bit of dirt and leaves and crap.
I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.

Agreed.

Had an XB van for 13 years. The plenum wasn't a problem on mine.
The issue was crud from the road and the plenum got trapped behind the bottom/rear of the front guards.

Had a CM wagon for 13 years. The only rust in it was a couple of very small bubbles in the tail gate.
Have seen plenty of them with holes in the plenum though.

I regret selling both of them, but at the time had nowhere to keep them.

I regret selling so many cars over time.

Hence, why the Cadillac and the Zephyr will never be sold during my lifetime.

Driving the Fleetwood, just puts me in happy place...... beautiful car.
I'm sure the Zeohyr will make me smile when its finished as well.... oh hell, it does now.

Just had a call from our real estate agent, looks like he sold our investment property after just one open and 15% above our asking price. Now to sign contracts and see out the cooling off period. Fingers crossed.

yep people seem to forget or just do not understand how things are made as to what raw materials are needed in the production and on going running of most things we use in our day to day life.

No argument but how can that sticky mess/leak at the head of the turbine work it's way to the bottom and turn into a clean flow of oil.
Think photoshop may have been involved here.

Two different photos for sure (look at the skies), but it doesn't change the fact.
