So the Pies have given themselves a crack at Top4 leaving The Eagles everything to play for against the Hawks to take 4th back off them but then the Crows have to beat the Dogs by not much for Port to beat the Dockers by more to take the 8th spot and the Dockers just sacked their coach? This could be bloody painful if it pans out that Port's last game is the chance to grab 8th spot and we get spanked at home by the Dockers playing for next year's contracts  :-[

My fear exactly, not to many teams who change coaches lose their first game. Port will need to be switched on right from the start, too many times we have given 5 and 6 goal starts to the opposition and then chased all day.

I thought with the Dogs winning that would see the end of the Hawks, Crows and Port but it seems not so as Port can still toss out Essendon with a win. Won't make much difference with a trip to Perth and the Eagles you wouldn't think so better to get earlier draft picks if you're making up the numbers. Still while you're alive the dream lives I suppose. Port from 8th place  :cup:

Essendon finished the season on 12 wins. Port currently have 10. Sorry prodigy, but Port are not in the mix....

Nope, we are done, best we can hope for is 10th, same as last year.

Just need to go out with a convincing win.

Young talent, working towards 2020, no excuses for Port next year.

That's what I thought so the dumb ladder was stuck on the previous week or some such. Looking like the damn Crows will get a draft pick before us.

Edit: Nah it's on the predictive ladder with the current game scores. Smacks forehead.

Don't the crows already have Carlton's first round pick as well?

Wow 18.4 to 8.17 that's some scoreboard pressure the Lions put on the Tiges. Thanks for the practice session.

Why on earth AFL players lining up for a set shot goal from anywhere in their kickable range don't look at the goals and allowing for the wind make a judgement call like a golfer and pick out a spectator or notable point in the grandstand and then completely ignore the frigging posts and drill that point only I'll never know. Oh I'm not far away so I think I'll steer this one through running to the side and hooking it through off the instep. WTF!

If you don't get it then pick the damn spectator and then face away with your back to them 180 degrees. Then you can spin around and run straight at them and drill them like you do on the field without thinking you dumb klutz and if you picked right the ball won't have time to deviate and guess what? You pick wrong bad luck but you can work on that so long as the swing is the same as you don't have to be anywhere near the pin just in line with it dummy. You're instinctive jocks not cogitating perfessors for chrissakes!

QuoteWeek 2 Toyota AFL Finals Series
Friday, September 13

First semi-final
Geelong v West Coast at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST
Saturday, September 14

Second semi-final
Brisbane v Greater Western Sydney at the Gabba, 7.25pm AEST
Week 3 Toyota AFL Finals Series
Friday, September 20
Youd think West Coast will walk that, but the second game, AFL wont be sure who to have win, they certainly want their newbys from Shitney to win, but brissy I'd say need to make a final so not to lose fans.
I'd like to see Brissy win that one.

QuoteSecond preliminary final
Richmond v Geelong or West Coast at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST
Saturday, September 21

First preliminary final
Collingwood v Brisbane or Greater Western Sydney at the MCG, start time TBC

But it doesnt matter - the AFL's $$$$ making dream of Richmond and Wobblers will be what they want to happen.
