« on: November 21, 2018, 07:56:31 AM »
120 days until round 1...

Prediction
We will get the spoon after a non existent trade period not Delisting 35 spuds.

FFS, Dud Thomas was in our top 5 in best and fairest....

Top 8 in no order
Eagles
Swans as usual
Hawks
Cats
Crows
Tigers
Wobblers
Maybe Demons or Great Waste of Space

I reckon the swans and hawks will drop out this year the blue baggers won't finish with the spoon I don't reckon with Docherty back and a a more experienced forward in McGovern with curnow and McKay  at the other end we should win a few more games this year I hope hahahaha.

Carlton co-captain Sam Docherty has re-torn his anterior cruciate ligament and will undergo a second knee reconstruction.
Docherty missed all of the 2018 season after having a knee reconstruction in November last year and the new injury is to the same knee. He will miss another full season of football.

The messiah thats already broken has done his back.

'Star Carlton recruit Mitch McGovern has suffered a pre-season setback, the former Crow sustaining a back fracture in a training drill on Thursday.'

Do ya reckon this year you could try to keep this a bit upbeat and positive instead of the routine negative anti-everyone and every club blurb that is written every year in the AFL thread?
Not too much to ask. Remember its easy to bag players umps clubs commentators etc, anyone can do that.
Personally I'm looking forward to the season, moaning about ineptness can wait til at least round 2 😁

Bird, you would have to heartened with the blues effort last night, young side still looking to gel, I thought there were some good signs for the future.
They didn't drop their heads which would have been easy to do after the first quarter but they fought back, just ran out of legs in the last quarter.
if God had meant me to walk he wouldn't have invented 4wds! Mitsubishi Challenger Pc 2014 (Blondie)

I gave up watching most of way through 1st 1/4... then saw 35 points to 1.

The future.. what was the saying the other year "Were coming" or something, they got last...
They have been saying that for few years now-  its about time they did something.

then seeing Boltons interview afterwards - my confidence in bottom 3 at best was heightened :( I really had high hopes and wanted him as coach - but I really wonder if Ratten would come back - he had us heading in the right direection :(
