Went to an invite only sale at a tool shop last night, that also had free beer! ;D

With a wallet for of cash and 40% off, I had a little fun.... ;D, but it wasn't all about me. I got the missus a heated Milwaukee hoodie and matching Milwaukee radio.

That kind of soften the blow when she said, "but all your stuff is 18v Makita?" and I fessed up about my 12v Milwaukee kit purchase the other week >:D

Decided to risk this cheaper 10A battery charger from Jaycar  http://www.jaycar.com.au/p/MB3625  It certainly works well.  Guess we'll see if it lasts.  ;D

Hi Slowtrip.
I've been using one of these for over a year now charging my 120Ah AGM. No problems so far.
Obviously not as quick as higher spec chargers, but great value for money.

Picked up a new Waeco CF80 from Rays today for $800.
Very happy with that price ;D

Apparently Rays will not be stocking these anymore, so they have dropped the prices on them to clear their stock.

Managed to destroy my Navman reversing camera on a recent trip. Cost me #140 from on-line Officeworks about 15 months ago. Navman advertise the camera for $199.

Bought a Parkmate replacement from JB HiFi for $85 to discover it is essentially the same camera just re-branded.

Works better and has better gridlines.

Luckydog, not an advertised price. I found out about it after ringing Rays asking if they had any in stock. Not sure if it applies Oz wide or just Victoria.
I was told there are very few units left in Vic (less than 6).
I'd suggest giving your local store a call and see what they can do. You could also haggle on a price for display stock.

There were only 3 or 4 stores in Vic with stock. Maribyrnong (1 only, floor stock, no cables), Waurn Ponds, and Warrnambool (I think they said they had 3 in stock).
All 3 gave me the same price. They are listed on their system as $834, but all said they would do $800.
As I said, not sure if this is Oz wide, but no harm in asking.

Also, cos they are a clearance item, i don't think Anaconda will do their price beat thing, but you never know.....

It is just the camera - because they feed into my Navman GPS video in.  Many of the better GPS have this feature.

Just the camera and all of the wiring because it feeds into my NAVMAN MyEscape II GPS. Many good quality GPS have a video in for this reason.
