I'm sort of kicking my self... I had the choice of an F700SL or a SV500... I decided to go with the F700SL (pictured a couple of pages ago I think) that is still in use fairly often, and had the mantle of daily rider for a while. It's worth peanuts really... on the other hand the Super V would be $$'s...

You can still find Super Vs cheap but they are slowly going up in value. If you do go looking for one, either try to get one that has had regular fork services, or plan to convert the fork to a conventional one (you'll need headset adapters to do that).

What size frame is that? There is a lot of seat post showing there.  :o

58cm Foo...same as my 20klm old Roubaix.

Asked same Q of a couple of shops (inc different brands) pre purchase and all good...I hope...

Foo

Chit , you must be tall, as my frames are 58 square and I don't have that much post out.  :o

191cm for me mate. I think it looks longer without the brake calipers on the bike...old vs new photos.

Foo

I'm 180 and my Track bike is 56cm  square and nothing but a pain in the arse to get right. My old frames were 60cm square but went with 58cm road frames as they said everyone rides smaller frames now.  ::)

My next Track frame will be no smaller than 58cm square.  ;)

Picked up my new ride from being put together a couple of weeks ago, 2016 GT Sensor Carbon Team.  Having a ball on it but on its second outing I had a fairly decent off, still nursing some nice bruises to both my body and ego.

Great fun, few comps coming up like the Bayview Blast, Giant3Plus3 and the Epic. Really enjoying getting out on the bike again.

Perfect morning for a ride in the bush.

Finally got my shoes/pedals sorted. After trying lots of combinations, I've ended up with Shimano Saint flats with Five Ten Freerider shoes. Grip like cleats but you can get your foot off without having to unclip.

Good shoe/pedal combo. Five tens are simply unbeatable. For my MTB riding I have Five Ten Impact shoes on DMR V12 magnesium pedals. Five tens just don't slip.😎

+1 to FiveTens; I used to use them as my river shoes (got through a couple of pairs of them over the years) as they gripped fantastically on wet rocks - remember having to climb out of one section of river once as I'd had a boat and paddler separation; they gripped beautifully as I climbed up the 4m rock face...

Can anyone use these?

Are they from a kids 20 or 24 inch Shane, look like about 180mm?  If so I am keen if your going to chuck them. Looking at re lacing my girls rims to 12 spoke to drop some weight out the front end, ridiculous having 32 spokes on a bike for a kid that weighs 25kg.

I have a Renegade which I can't ride anymore due to RA so I made this one.   20" rims I spoked to aluminium wheelchair hubs with S/S spokes, 5 speeds at the rear, two at the front and 4 ranges in the middle.   This pic was taken in the testing period, only thing I had to change was the seat back, it now has a more 'ergonomic' seat shaped to fit my back.   Rake, trail and wheel flop aren't quite what I'd like but it still handles well.   I had plans for a rebuild with 27" rear wheel, hydraulics and Deore cycle parts but the RA put an end to that now both bikes sit in the garage collecting dust and all the parts are still in their wrappers.

Second picture is a trike I made around 12 years ago and rode daily with my co-pilot directing me.   It has ackerman and centrepoint steering, Bar end shifters I made up and the same wheels and gearing as the bike.   I made three trikes before this one as test beds and this, the final one, handled really well and was a barrel of fun.    Never went anywhere without the co-pilot - he loved it.   The frame now hangs from the rafters in my shed, most of the cycle parts are worn out.

I have no idea how this attach photo system works, last try.

Here is my bike, after having problems in both wrists riding a normal bike in a no no so my commute to work (when I get my self motivated) is this bike. I have just changed the steering to now be above as I crashed to many times with the steering under the seat. Still a challenge and now looking to get some clip in shoes to get some more stability. Its my money pit ATM.
