Riding is very good for clearing your head

And for releasing built up tension after a crap week or anything like it for that matter.  It also drops my blood pressure if it is running a bit high. 

Maybe Jeepers should get a bike also.

The bike shop has revived my Apollo for the last time they said.
Last weekend I did the MACA200 in Perth, 200 km in 2 days to raise funds for  the Harry Perkins Institute to find a cure for cancer.
It was my third year and in total $7M was raised.
I already have signed up for 2022.

The bike went really well, but I am definitely want a new bike.
I noticed the Merida Reacto Rival Edition with the new SRAM Rival eTap AXS which looks very interesting.
The only think I don't know is how easy is it to make it so that all the controls are on the left hand side, especially the brakes.

On my Shimano Di2 Ultegra I can program any button on the shifters to do anything. It also has a full syncro mode so it maps the gear changes based on gear length, you don't need to worry about changing the front derailleur as it does it for you. As for brakes if they're hydro then that's a pretty hardcore modification.

Remind me of why you need all the controls on the left side please? Can you post a pic of your current setup for us to understand?

Due to a motorbike accident in 1995 I have lost any movement in my right hand and most of movement in my right arm.
At the accident my right collar bone hit my rib and all nerves in between were severed.

Attached is the current set up.
It has a grip shifter for the cassette on the left (that bit with the red X), thumb shifter for the chainrings on the inside (the black part), and two brake levers (in white).

Sorry for that chit situation but if and it could be a big if? I would think that if you had two left side levers mounted to a modified bracket that would go over your bars, it could be done?  Cable would be no problem but hydraulic could cause an added headache.

None of the SRAM electronics work for what you need mate, as one lever is for shifting up, the other for down...

Try and find a bike with Di2 if you want to go electronic ... The new Ultegra Di2 should be out soon, or if you prefer flat bar bikes, there's also Di2 for XT/XTR, which I believe will also work with road derailleurs (but haven't seen it confirmed yet)

Not so sure, I think that AXS are all communicating with each other.
They even have build a mullet with Force levers and Eagle derailleur.
So the opposite should work as well: Rival derailleur and Eagle shifter.

I think even with hydraulic brakes as I have now, it should work with using the MTB brake levers.

Yeah, they do work that way, just spoke to a mate with an AXS mountain bike, and he teamed it to his Red AXS road bike while I was talking to him, so you should be set for a one side setup with SRAM electronic...

Happy dance, got my missing Track Silk now, a $1000 worth of tubulars under the bed but only cost me $400. Oh that's right, I had an order in for four Pista Silk Extras for my Track racing and they sent me three and one that was for Road racing.  So I sent off an email and then another one that I got  a reply from, saying that they original reply may have gone to my SPAM folder (yep) so they said that the correct one is in the mail and I can keep the wrong one.

The dealer didn't want to test ride after a service as my front brake was in the position where normally the clutch is......

Before and after pics of my latest build, 1991 Paconi frame, local MEL frame builder, Reynolds 531 tubing and Shimano 600 tricolour groupset. I usually prefer original paint but this was a very nice frame with hideous powder coat that needed to be restored to it's former glory.
