A sad day indeed, he was able to beat the elements and overcome cancer to be taken in an accident, his loss will be felt by many both man and animal alike.

May he rest in peace and his legacy live on.

yep not good news. I remember watching Mal on telly, he was one of the pioneers of Australian Doco's.

I guess the thing that can be said about Mal is he didnt die wondering, he took life full on.

Truely a sad day, a true bush gentleman, seeing it on the news tonite one can't help thinking something may have happen to him  prior to the crash as there was minimal damage to his Cruiser,

His final Doco will be shown on 7 next Wednesday 9,30 as a tribute

My favourite Bushy is gone,
But in my heart he will live on!
He let me dream about the good life,
He showed me how to get out of strife.
He gave me advice on how to cook,
He did it on screen, not in some book.
He was and will always be,
Brilliant and Barefoot in the Bush!

Gonna miss those cooking lessons, Boondi, and the exploration of my favourite part of the world, The Kimberleys.

Rest In Peace Malcolm ...
