Yep a big improvement over the cables / hand crank ..
Though a failure with the system is still a Holiday over [ or work out how to manualy raise / lower roof  ] and a visit  too where to get it fixed [ A specialty repair place / dealers ?? doubtful ] and potentialy still a 3 month wait ..
No different to the original reason ..
Now a cheap  easy to store / use emergency external clip on lift / lower system like airbags or air rams .. 4x lift rams / bags [ bit over 1m in length ] 4 x roof support bars,   a length of airline fitted with a ball valve bleeder, with quick connectors, use your air compressor from the car / what ever,   would be of a better benefit in case of a lift failure .
