Here is a site that is full of stats around the world showing how different countries are coping and the various death, recovery and symptom rates...

What I'd like to see is where each case of confirmed came from....helps to know how close they are and to what level of awareness you need to take.

The stats are out there, show us ??

Doubt they will do that... may promote more panic...

Have been using this site to track info...

https://www.covid19data.com.au/

It has a table which details confirmed local transmissions... which is very low...

These sites listed make for interesting reading and allows for some more reasoned analysis, rather than the ridiculous scaremongering being pushed by our mainstream media...

I just cannot fathom the stupidity of allowing people to just get off the ship and travel wherever they wanted...

Agree although although was it correct that the cruise had just circled around NZ and not been anywhere ?

And as of 4pm today, official numbers of those that have recovered from covid19 has almost doubled in one day to 91...

Why aren't we hearing about this on the news?

Media are only in it for the melodramatic drama, make you panic without telling you to panic.  good news stories just don't sell.

that whole situation blows my mind...
'Chances are we might get it': 2700 on infected cruise ship not checked upon Sydney arrival
Passengers were free to leave a "low risk" cruise ship docked in Sydney without being questioned about their health despite some on-board displaying flu-like symptoms only for four people to test positive for coronavirus.

We did the same in WA but in a controlled way. Be interesting to see if any numbers come up out of these 2 ships in the coming days as well.

There was one ship they mentioned few days ago that tried to dock in France - and was refused... So they sent it onwards to .... ITALY!

I would like to see the stats for those who have been infected with the virus while on a cruise and the stats for those who have contracted the virus as a result of having contact with someone on a cruise who  may have contracted the virus.
Just seem to read these stories that seem to all lead back to  a cruise ship.

Cruise ships are a well known hotbed for spreading communicable diseases. Just look at the number of times they have gastro outbreaks. Cruising may never be the same again.

It will remain the same for me, something to look at but have no desire to try.

6 of the people from the Ruby Princess that docked in Sydney flew back to WA where the were tested.
POSITIVE.
No wonder where in pickle we are in when a state health dept just lets them off to roam with the rest of the flock.

News report I saw, said they wandered around the Sydney CBD all day waiting for their flight home.
