Hi
After some photos please of the engine bay of a D22 2.5 ST-R that have a second battery, fuel filter and catch can fitted
I am asked the Navara Forum as well, but first have to join it.

Can't help you with the pic but you're best to buy a Provent 200 kit for it from Western Filters to start with-

It's not worth pissing around buying the Provent and then sourcing the gear to hitch it up is my advice. As for a fuel filter I was comfortable with the factory one but never wanting to get into a bunfight with a servo over water in diesel plus not wanting to impinge on fuel flow meant only one choice- https://www.waterindiesel.com.au/waterwatch4diesel
No way my Mitsi could take a second battery under the bonnet but maybe Nissan's are exceptional in that regard.
