Seriously though for a moment (I know, that's not a thing we do here! )

If you have a look at the members list ^, it says we have virtually 25000 members (24918 as at 3/12/18)

Of those, only ~8400 have ever made A post!!! (Yep ~16600 "members" have not even made 1 post )

~6900 have made 2 posts

1225 have 100+

431 at 500+

But so far this year, 1329 new members have joined, so you have to wonder - did they search, find the answer they needed, so left & have never come back Did they read the banter & think it was too close-knit a group so they wouldn't be welcome

Right now, it says there are 10 members & 76 "guests" () reading this board - 2 of the members have 0 posts in 18 months & 1 in 8+ years , so please, at least just say hello - really, we don't bite (well, if you go into Electrical without full protection on, you may get zapped

Maintaining a presence on a forum can be pretty time consuming, especially if it is a fast moving forum with many posters. I don't typically engage in more than 1 online forum at any given point in my life, because I don't want to spend hours tracking down conversations I'm involved in.
I'm also a member of multiple forums I've never posted in because I've found threads I wanted to read and needed to see the pics.
