Ok for "shiggles" (Shits and giggles) I put together a little "promotional video" for our upcoming trip. The footage came from an offroad camping trip we did to the Mid West of WA over Labour Day weekend a few weeks ago. No real reason just want to show off some of the pics and video I took, and a promotional video was a good excuse!

It was shot on a DJI Mavic drone, a GoPro Hero Silver and a Canon 6D still camera with some nice glass.

Let me know what you think! This was the first time I've flown a Drone so please be kind! I'll get better!

Watched it off your Facebook page a few hours ago and thought it was brilliant and very professional. Even plugged the laptop into our TV to watch it.  Even better on a big screen.   :cup:

Made my wife and I wish we were heading off again.....  Been back home 3 months now after a 12 month trip.

Look forward to more videos.  Love the drone....    Kevin

I really like the Mavic, they do virtually fly them self, though.

Beautiful work & some awesome shots there, especially of the lightning :cup:

One comment - you had the aerial shot saying Nalbarra Station. The white writing was positioned over the light coloured water in the Creek / Billabong, which made it a little bit hard to make out the words :-[ Apart from that super-minor point, it looked great to this untrained eye :D

One question though. You had the head-on shot of Pearl coming down the road towards the drone. Where were you flying from ??? Standing on the side of the road, or inside the car ???

Thanks

Graeme

Wow, that's great well done.  We've been pondering getting a drone before our up coming adventure and I think you've convinced us !!  Enjoy your travels.
