Don't quite understand all the carry-on about decisions now being illegal, & possibly challenging everything that's been voted on by these "foreigners"
It's written up in the Rules for Associations etc that even if it turns out that somebody shouldn't have been on the Committee, then anything that happened while they were is still OK.
Just for the sake of it, I looked it up:
"28 Acts not affected by defects or disqualifications
(1) An act performed by the management committee, a subcommittee or a person acting as a member of the management committee is taken to have been validly performed.
(2) Subrule (1) applies even if the act was performed when—
(a) there was a defect in the appointment of a member of the management committee, subcommittee or person acting as a member of the management committee; or
(b) a management committee member, subcommittee member or person acting as a member of the management committee was disqualified from being a member."
If something like that is specified for the operation of every little 2-bit Association in Oz, then wouldn't something similar apply to actually running the Country
