Needed time to ourselves so took the plunge!

With a daughter wishing to fly the coop we decided travel was seriously on the cards! Even though we are the wrong side of 60, both of us still work and get little time away to recharge the batteries so a visit to the GC Caravan and camping show embedded itchy feet. The Brissy show confirmed it and we placed an order for an MDC Venturer Cape York, yes the one that won the 2015 under $20k category.. turned up 2 saturdays ago and it's first trip to iron out the bugs is next weekend, also a birthday weekend.. bugger.. yet another year gone by on the wrong side!

The Patrol has had the works, second battery, 50mm uplift with heavy springs, bullbar and winch, engine management and dual filters... the list goes on, get the impression we are planning to get lost out west in the not too distant future!

So here goes.... with dog, can't leave him behind!!!
