What does this site say about your VIN https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Isuzu/MU-X
I'll check when I get home this arvo.

May have solved it for you ???

Looked at the Isuzu Forum last night to check something myself & spotted:

2nd Gen MU-X
MY16.5, MY17, MY18 and MY19 models sold from Nov 2016 to May 2021.

3rd Gen MU-X
MY21 models sold from Jun 2021 and ongoing

When in 2021 was it actually made ??? It may well be made in 2021 but if it's a 2nd Gen then there will be slight differences in shape etc.
The bonnet protector for the 21 model that I ordered was about 3" wide each side, the front windows weather protectors fit, but the rear ones were about 10-12mm to short in lenght.
A mate reckons it's a 2018-19 build. But compliance plated in 2021.
Hmm,

Sounds like its a MY 2019 model built in 2021 and complied in Aus in 2021, so is all okay.  Parts person would have ordered parts for a MY 21 which was the new model.
It confuses people in the industry and gets people caught out.
Hope you enjoy getting out and about in your new rig.

Pretty random, & couldn't think of anywhere else to ask ... ???

BiL & his Mrs are away touring atm (just started another lap!)

They were at Condobolin last week & Mrs copped a spider bite, which apparently dropped down inside her shirt while they were out on a bike ride!  :o :'(

Didn't even feel it at the time, but started hurting that night, by next morning was in pain, & the bite area on her back had swelled up to the size of a bread & butter plate!  :o

Had to go to Hospital where Doctor lanced it then squeezed all the poison & muck out (which was apparently not a pleasant experience :'() She's starting to feel better now after a course of anti-biotics, but still left with a ~10mm hole in her back that is slowly healing!

So here's my question - what type of spider ???

Hospital could only say it was a "spider" bite. I know we have Swaggers who have knowledge of that general area, so wondering if any of you have any thoughts ???

Just saw this on FacePlant: https://www.facebook.com/groups/637556563102391/

If the link doesn't work:

"The green dot initiative was started by road safety advocate and truck driver Rod Hannifey, who was trying to find a safe place to pull over  - but by the time he found a safe place to do so, he had already passed it.
“Rod came up with this dot idea which gives you a little bit of a warning of an area coming up, where you can pull over safely,”.
3 X Green reflective dots indicates in approximately 500 metres there should be a safe space to pull off the road.
2 X Green reflective dots, indicates in approximately 250 metres there should be a safe space to pull off the road.
1 X Green reflective dot is positioned just before the safe space that you can pull off the road.
These green dots can be found more and more on the New South Wales and Queensland roads, they are not limited to just trucks, motorhomes or car and caravans, they are there for any motorists to pull over"

It's a new one to me!

Has anybody spotted green dots on posts at the side of the road ???

Originally used as blue reflectors on the Newell in 1999.
Rod won a safety award in 2005.
Trialled in Vic in 2012, but changed to green so as not to get confused with the blue reflectors that marked fire hydrant locations.

Not trying to take away from your post mate.
Yes, we do remember them, that's why we stood in rain, that cold morning. Throughout the dawn service.

Now, My random question.

The world has become a strange place.
These days you can choose the sex of your baby before the egg is fertilised and conceived.
So What happens years down the track. Your child decides it's not happy being that sex that you've chosen?
Does it sue you and can you get your money back?

Be a bit hard before fertilisation, or conception, because that's when the babies sex is determined. Ovum has X chromosome, sperm has either X or Y chromosome. If a X sperm fertiises the ovum, then the baby is most likely to have XX chromosome, and be a girl. If the sperm has a Y chromosome, then baby will most likely have a XY chromosome and be a boy. Buttttttt... the baby can also have other combinations of chromosomes that happen during cell division, and that's where gender ambiguity can come into play.

And it's not really choosing the sex of the embryo, but rather choosing the embryo you keep, and discarding the rest.

I know, and understand how that works and the mechanics of it.
It just opens a whole can of what it's, and in the future for these people, it might not be the happiness they were chasing.

I think you're missing the point completely? What would be their issue? On what basis would they want to sue their parents, not that there would be any grounds to sue anyway.
