Clutch adjustment, self propelled mower

Any lawn mower gurus out there know if the clutch/transmission on a self propelled lawn mower is adjustable ? Mine doesn't have enough grunt to pull itself along anymore, the mechanism is working, it just seems to be slipping too much, the mower is a John Deer JS63. I know the excercise is good for me...

Found a little bit of info on the net, seems the cable adjustment is critical, I will check the actual measurement from on to off is in spec, also drive belt tension. These both "looked" fine to me...

Haven't got one of those but have plenty of Honda's and a few Rovers.
Cable adjustment is usually up on the handle.
On the honda, once you run out of thread on the handle adjuster the lever on the gearbox can be moved around to give more grunt.
No clutches on them suckers.
Have a good Christmas.

More than likley is a worn or slipping drive belt. Try adding more tension to the belt ... Or replace the belt. That's usually the problem.
