i'm thinking of getting the toilet in the upcoming catalog. i wonder if they will still return it within 60 days if its no good, if i'm felling nice i'll empty it first.  >:D

I was in the market for a toilet as well. Has anyone got one and if so is the quality any good?

grmas1 - we don't get the Aldi catalogue as at the moment there's no Aldi near us 9only 2 in WA at the moment).
Can you give some details on the fridge (size, dual zone, compressor etc).
Regards

Andy_Q

The fridge is not made by waeco.
I have one and it works fine. It is made by an Italian company indelb

We had the toilet now over a year and it does what it's supposed to do just fine. Easy to clean and well priced.

Sorry just had a look at the catalogue and that one is different to the one we bought.

Numpty Alert
I went into a shop this morning and they said come back next week for the camping gear.
Does Aldi have their own father day a week later as I'm sure it says for fathers day?
PS
Not been into the shop before now.

Makes sense now, and also why cheap, you have to go and fight over it with everyone else on a Saturday, sounds great.
The roof top bag thingy looks OK, I hope they have them on display.

As a former avid Aldi shopper - in my experience you'll probably find they are "displayed" - by one having been ripped out of its packaging ... and left sprawled across the rest of the merchandise   LOL...

If you want to get what you're looking for, be there 10 minutes before they open and stand in line with the other 100 or so people.

We wanted a couple of their small their garden sheds a couple of weeks ago. Walked in the door 10 minutes after they opened, there was one shed left "on display" (box ripped open and bits spread around) from the 2 palettes of sheds they had at that store. Had to go to 2 other stores and finally found our second shed in the shop about an hour away from home.

About 10 or 15 mins before they close on a Friday they start to bring the specials out for Sat... beat the crowds.

And remember to have someone on Point Duty; to guard your trolley....    On more than one occasion I have stopped aggressive shoppers in the act of pinching plunder straight  out of my trolley  ...grrr  feigning innocence - muttering something about they thought (my haul) was part of the display....    BULL     >:D

...and consider weponising your trolley  ... (just kidding)...

Haha, haven't been that lucky yet.
Though I have only been in there 3 or 4 times, thankfully. ;)

Walked in on Saturday morning about 10pm for a look (following the wife around) and thought bugger it I will grab the rooftop bag for $49.95 and then also thought bugger it and grabbed a rooftop rack for $99.00. Flatpacked and have yet to put together but it doesn't look too bad

Not allowed to go shopping with the wife anymore  :cup:

Going to grab one of the 3 second tents next weekend for when I can get away without the wife and kids... Easier to put up and store than a swag...

Seem to get an OK rap on the couple of YouTube reviews I found from the UK

Was very tempted to get another two chairs this week, they're the same as the oztrail ones we already have (down to the bag) that cost a lot more than $69.99 each

I hit the local shop at 08:10 sat morning.
No roof racks left
No foot plates for the hight lift jack left, plus a few other thing gone.
I got the roof cage bag, it seems sturdy enough, and also got the large sleeping bag, I liked it as it is 900mm wide and has side panels. Room to move.

Now for the test tomorrow...   ;D

Dave let me know if you would like me to go and look at my local to see if any are left. Would mean a road trip for pickup though or swagmail

Did you try the Aldi at Coomera near masters? They are normally quiet.

this was the best video review, Rob...

looks good enough for me rather than using a swag - chuck a groundsheet under it, and pull the Aldi (Powerful 4x4) awning out over the top

Ha.  Looking at this it's  Kinderkot for adults.   I've been using one of these for a few years for the kids.
