There's been a few popping up in farm clearance sales. The buyer thinks they are getting a good deal - cheap Stihl - until they get home and have a good look at it. It seems a few unscrupulous persons buy them off ebay, dirty them up, then sell through a local farm clearance sale with no recourse.

Golly miss molly, I will soon be looking for a new Stihl, was thinking of looking on ebay for a good hardly used one on ebay..

Might have to buy  a brand newy from a reputable Stihl shop.

well I saw fuji's new chainsaw.
It looked like a stihl should.
It started like a stihl should.
It cut like a stihl should.
But,
Then it didn't work again for nearly 24 hours after it laboured for only 1/2hr, so it could actually be an Australian copy stihl!
