With enough horse power, sheer ignorance and a total lack of respect for your vehicle, you'll get through....

What makes you think it needs an overhaul? Mine has done 300k km and I'm wondering if it is still ok but don't know how to tell without taking it off.

My 80 series ( 1HDT engine ) is feeling sluggish when the turbo kicks in, there is oil leaking around the turbo and when it idles there is the blueish whitish smoke haze- not heavy but you can see it. I service the car every 4-5000 km and do look after it, but it just seems like it is underpowered at the moment. The fuel pump has been rebuilt twice in the past 2 years and i have also pulled the filters out of the tanks to clean.

When i bought the car the owners rebuilt the engine ( 80,000 km ago ) but didnt touch the turbo, not saying it is but wouldnt mind getting it checked i suppose
