With my D40 I went ARB lift kit with medium springs. Had a steel canopy on back and used to tow camper with 100 kgs down ball weight. It rode  very nicely, better than my 200 series with lift kit.

I was following a D40 tray back today and the rear leaf spring did not have a shackle at the rear of the chassis but just the hanger like you would have at the front.  Couldn't see if there was a shackle at the front of the spring.

Are they all like this?

And no I had not been drinking  :police:

I too have a Navara D40 which a sagging rear - I was contemplating a set of Ironman load helpers.  These appear to have good reviews, although some reports indicate the U bolts hit on the chassis.  So I'm still contemplating the best course of action - I look forward to hearing what you ended up doing!
