G'day Daz,

Welcome to the site mate, glad to hear you got yourself a CT...... and remember, eBay special or $100,000 set up, doesn't matter as long as you're getting out and enjoying yourselves!!!!
And yep you're dead right, there's plenty if you on here, and if you can't find the answer you're looking for feel free to ask.

Happy Travels!!

G'day,

well picked up the CT from Melbourne a few weeks ago - towed well - the ol Triton went good pullin her.

Link to show the one I bought:-
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/7x4ft-Off-Road-Camper-Trailer-with-23x18ft-Tent-camping-caravan-4X4-4WD-CTT05-/161256195639?pt=AU_Caravans_RVs&hash=item258b9e4637

All in all not too bad a camper for the price.

So far I have added some pole holders behind front box

Added two extra hinges on the bed base - when you lifted the top the end flexed out at least 30 mm - could see issues arising - Mars informed me that there new model will have three hinges (mine had two) 1 each end and 1 in the middle - I said well thanks for the heads up - why didn't you mention something when I picked it up

Not too bad - they did send me two hinges - fitted myself - wow that was fun - tight spaces - however it does open without flexing now.

Other mods to happen

12 volt elec setup (have already put battery in front box) - just need to run all the cable and fit plugs/lights etc
Roll out draw setup
possibly relocate spare wheel - maybe to the rear? not sure yet
Jockey wheel looks like could do with some washers at bearing to stop them moving too much

Will post some pics up soon

Set it up in the back yard and seasoned it - that went really well - slept in it for two nights - pretty happy

We are looking at heading out about 4th April for its first real camp out

Cheers Daz
