We seem to lucky lately, the storm's keep parting just before they get to us and go either side of us and all we get is a bit of thunder and a short shower. touch wood

huge storm just going through jimboomba......
i had to work today and didn't finish till 1.00 p.m, so missed heading out early to go take some pics of the storms. i headed towards Beaudesert after i got home and dropped my trailer off, and got about 10 minutes from Jimboomba when a fella on the uhf gave a heads up of the hail hitting there. i took the next exit and as i rounded the roundabout at the end of that exit, had a golf ball sized bit of hail land beside my fourby. i quickly circled all the way around the roundabout and headed back in the direction from which i came from...lol.

i had water damage in my office late yesterday due to very heavy rain at Sth Tweed. Quite a bit of water through the roof just missing about 50K worth of scanning equipment!!!

Was taking a foster cat to the vet st Greenbank and got hailed on as heading home, but luckily it was just one thud and no damage.  It looked really black but no photos as I left the bloody camera at home!

By the way, anyone want a ginger cat?
