Newbie from Sydney.
« on: September 26, 2013, 07:22:46 PM »
Hi all, just discovered this site the other day after a work mate got me on to it. Wow, this place place is full of CT gold!! We have a 2012 Skamper Kamper ranger. Got the 12 foot tent with the kids room. It's not a bad unit and reading the other comments on the Skamper I have pretty much experienced the same issues with it. Had a few pole failures, a few leaks and I'm sick of those stupid L spigots that hook into the main frame for the awning!!

We fold it away with the awning attached everytime. It was very heavy to lift the bed base so we invested in a Drifta storage box and while we were at it got a Drifta kitchen as well. This stuff is unbelievably convenient when we go camping. Everything is at our finger tips! No I'm not a rep! It's seriously good stuff.

Anyway, power is my next project for the CT so I'll be trawling through the pages here for advice. Here's a few pics of our set up.

Thanks

Terry.

Hi TGilly,

Welcome to the friendliest place on the web.

Some great pics of your setup, which looks like a great setup.

The electrical section has calmed down of late but I would still approach with caution.  ;D
