You know it's humid when
« on: August 25, 2013, 10:20:35 PM »
Well, here we are and it seems the wet is coming along nicely, very early and normal but. The humidity is such that the water is running off the roof. We don't have gutters here as there is no point. It rains so hard it's a waste of time, or it doesn't rain. Over the years of this even the tiles or pavers start to get pits in them from the for ever - drip, drip, drip.

This is the depth of that erosion

The gutter at my place has been dripping off 1 lonely screw for quite awhile here (now into a bucket which is emptied and replaced every day ... to drive the neighbours nuts at night by the bucket drip drip drip ---  suffer! ) and stopped in the last few nights ... but the "erosion" is nowhere near that bad in my concrete path.
