Hello from Rory and Bertha
« on: November 15, 2011, 10:04:01 PM »
G'day,

My family and I (wife and three ankle biters) recently bought ourselves a 2005 model Trak Shak ("Bertha").  This was quickly followed by a 2001 100 series Landcruiser ("Rory").

We're currently planning our 'round Aus trip commencing in November 2012.

Already seen some good ideas on this site RE LED lights, and will be building some for "Bertha".  Also like the idea of the insulation roof blankets and will be making my own for starters.

Anyway, hello to all!

Simon.

Hello Simon, welcome to the forum.  We have a "tropical roof", ie insulating blanket and it does make a difference. Just have to make sure if you get wet or there is condensation that the canvas is dry before you store Bertha for any length of time.
Cheers,
