We picked up our new Off Road Bell Canvas Camper Trailer 2 weeks ago and are heading off to Lake Lyell, Lithgow for our first trip. For the next few months we will be adding another battery and solar to get us ready for our Christmas holiday. We are new to camper trailers but have always loved camping in a tent but hate the packing up and putting away bit when you come home, so we are very excited about throwing in your food and cloths and taking off to where ever we feel like!!! Also love this forum, has loads of info, I'm new to this as well!

The best way to sort out what needs doing on your camper is to take it out and use it. Make sure you have a notebook and pen handy to jot down the things you forgot, and the things you need to do.
Look forward to the pics from your weekend away. I was out Lake Lyell way a couple of weeks ago, and it is a nice area.

We got the Walkabout.
We heard it's really nice at Lake Lyell so are really looking forward to it. The kids (teenagers) can't wait to have a camp fire.

And of course, you're guaranteed to get this --->
1st trip out can be a bit frustrating, learning how & finding you needed this & that. But it gets more exciting with each new trip
By about the 4th - 5th trip, when you think you've gotten all them little things you need, you'll start deciding to leave some of them home next time, because you
really
didn't need them
And you're right, just throwing in your food and clothes, hooking up & going is great
Enjoy your maiden voyage

I finally got my daughter to download some pics for me. I will post a couple here and then move onto another section for our weekend at Lake Lyell.

Not to sure, he said they sold the trailer part to someone but I can't remember who.. Do you have one of theirs as well? Our trailer looks different to the ones they have on the website....
