mate of mine was declined warranty because they reckened he was not running the right pressure
They tried that on with us too, I told them I run the manufacturers recommended pressures for my vehicle and offroad pressures recommended by the tyre outlet that Cooper recommended, you can check the pressure now if you like, his reply was, Oh, OK, (STs)that was 6000ks, they replaced them no questions asked with STCs.
The second time I brought the car in to have the tyres checked(15,000ks) they said, they don't look that bad, when I pointed out the cracking at the base of the lugs, his reply was (and I quote) "it only seems to be on a few, not realy enough to replace them"WTF??
We did a high country trip, then took the car back with complete lugs torn off, around 5000ks later, apparently that was enough
they were replaced with STTs, a slight cost to us because of the milage we had done
Never again, I replaced the STTs with 25,000ks on them, they had lugs missing and further chipping and cracking, to dangerous to continue with them, I went to Nankang Mudstars as they were cheap and I needed tyres for our upcoming trip.
