Anyone going to the ARB Penrith New Store Open Day on Saturday 30/07/11. New premises diagonally opposite their old shop in Regentville Road Penrith. Might try to get along after the kids sport.

Them's the days when you think  they're gonna give you a good deal, but the only thing cheap was the Sanga sandwich...

I think ARB have great gear but a over inflated prices and even worse their staff are as arrogant as I have ever seen

I need
front and rear lockers
front bar
roof rack
roof top tent
winch

I roll up to ARB in my TuRD and the guy that serves me couldn't even be bothered to get off his chair and just gave me a price no discount didn't show me the stuff and just thought I should want to buy of them not them sell to me

Seem's to be the norm, I think they must be groomed or coached to be that arrogant, rude and uninterested. Or maybe there's some secret club we don't know about.

Funny.........i've always found them very easy to get on with..........having said that i've only ever delt with the Penrith branch. Even my wife finds them easy to talk to and lets face it, how many auto stores can a woman go into and get what they want without being patronized

my wife has had just as bad experience as me
problem is I shop around and don't buy from arb anymore but my wife doesn't really know what she is buying so ARB is easy except for the staff

bussoboy

i must admit i buy most of my stuff from Coldy's in McGraths Hill.............far and away the best service I've had anywhere for anything, but the times I've bought from ARB in Penrith I've found Leighton very helpful & friendly.....maybe it's because I have an auto parts background?

The one I wouldn't go back to is Macquarie 4X4, maybe I got him on a bad day, but man I was made to feel unwelcome in that shop

If it was only unwelcome then you got him on a good day.....I think ARB Penrith and Albury are the 2 stores that are the exception to the norm. Wentworthville is the worst I've been in (even worse than Macquarie 4X4) after being told I was stupid for buying the vehicle that I did. The salesman didn't seem to like my reply either.....

Hi Guys, Like all others I have had good and Bad experiences with 4WD shops, some treat you like complete idiots and if you dont know exactly what you are after and the diamensions, brand name etc etc then forget it it.

I have owned a R51 Pathfinder and now a 200 Series Land Cruiser, one certain ARB Store (close to the city) done the wrong thing and will never see me back again.

Mannell Motors at Thornleigh have looked after both of my cars and done all the Mods to both, great customer service, great knowledge and if I dont know things then Jimmy, Giles and Nick also take the time to explain and also give options on all products.

Because of the Location i have not been to ARB Penrith but its owned by the same person so if the store at Thornleigh is anything to go by the Penrith should be a great store.

Looking forward to seeing their new set up but unfortunatley away on a Bucks weekend for the Open day, But good luck NICK.

I am only a satisfied customer and have no affiliation with either ARB or Mannell Motors
Cheers
Carl
