Howdy Y'all, Just signed up to this forum and its wealth of information, but unfortunately it was a bit to late, as I have been building my own trailer and am at the paint stage. I stumbled across this site when i was researching water tanks for my rig,  after the design and construct stage of my build was well and truly over, not to worry I will try and post the piccies that I have through out the build in the camper trailer build section at a later date
I have built my trailer to accommodate the austrack tent as it was a reasonably priced tent with a lot of features and extras that others could not provide, the trailer is your standard 7x4 with 500mm sides running 9 leaf susp with shocks 33' cooper STT's on Toyota 16inch IFS rims, full SHS and RHS chassis, fold down draw for the new 32 engel on a slide (located inside the tent) dual 110 AH batteries with a DC-DC charger and several points located around the trailer for lights etc, I haven't started my kitchen as yet but it will include the Smev 3 burner hotplate and a second stage reg running at low pressure to save gas, being a plumber it will be permanently connected to save hooking up each time you want a cuppa, It will run a 60L tank with filter and hand pump and an in line check valve (not sure on 12v pump as yet as the cruiser has a glind shower)standard tool box on the front with a 60L fuel tank with pump for the long trips, I also will be mounting a boat rack down the track but haven't found the right tinnie as yet.
The tow rig is a 2003 V8 Land cruiser that has pretty much the works on it and it does get punished 33' Cooper STT's, 3 inch lift, triple batteries,Safari Snorkel, Spoties UHF, Hands free Phone, GPS on board air tanks and a boss compressor, Outback draws, a buggered winch that I haven't got around to fixing, ARB roof rack with two Hella Matadors as flood lights for camping and a trusty engel that runs 24/7 filled with the good ole mothers milk , and the shower and heat exchanger for the missus
As you could possibly tell I like to get away whenever I can I have seen most of Australia with the north of WA the only spot i haven't seen yet since moving to Perth not long ago it wont be far away. any way enough of my essay. How do you do?

G'day & Welcome.

OK, you were late getting here but it sounds like you're about to make up for that. Your Cruiser sounds the goods and it also seems like you've given the camper a lot of thought.

Look forward to seeing your photos and hearing about your adventures.
