I've always loved Drews commentary...
Channel 9 need to get him on the phone YESTERDAY!
Apparently has a head for radio .
He wouldn't fit in with all the pretty boys on 9
But he's probably the best of the commentators  (after skull of course ). He also called tha afl didn't he?

What a top day.
Rain on the tin roof.
Fire blazing.
Cold beer
Watching test cricket.
Drama at its absolute best

Well done Australia and India. Was a very interesting series. I think we had the edge in the bowling department and that was the difference.

Saying that though, I didn't think we ever looked threatening enough to take the final wickets today.

Back to the pyjama cricket now....

Agreed, 10 wickets in a day on a flat track against the best 'match savers' in the business was always going to be a tough job. I was hoping Lyon could pull off what Clarke did a couple of seasons ago and take 3 wickets in the last over to get them out...

that means he'd actually have to bowl a decent line and length...  not much of it today.

hazelwood very impressive with the old ball today, though.  may have just booked his ticket for the ashes with his bowling today...

Its a worry though, twice in the series they couldn't bowl them out.
Australia are just missing that strike bowler to wrap up an innings.
Perhaps Cummings will be the man!!!!!!

Top of my hit list would be Maxwell (James Brayshaw's love child) who "apparently" has sooo many shots. All I have seen is a reverse sweep that works sometimes, and a slog to mid wicket that either goes straight up in the air and is taken by the keeper or caught on the rope.
Watson will prob be player of the series and thus book himself a plane flight to England. He simply loses the plot when wearing white.  And yet guys like Dan Christian (who is horribly out of form sadly) cant get a game. New blood time. Nathan Reardon comes to mind too. Im looking for a new job, might look up "national cricket selector" on job seek.com ? dont need any knowledge of the game or current players judging by who gets selected.

maxwell is there for his bowling as well, which unlike his batting at the moment, is pretty good...  the fact that xavier doherty is our first-choice ODI spinner says a lot about the state of spin bowling in this country, both with what is currently available, and selectors who don't have the balls to pick someone who is a bit out of the box (cameron boyce comes to mind).

Brett Lee to make an announcement at a media conference today.

My tip is he is going to turn his back on retirement and replace Watson at 3.
