An outright win would be a great way to finish an already won series. They just need the flat Sydney track to start breaking up a little to give our bowlers the edge.

It's only the 1st innings, plan will be to make 650+ and only bat once, then spend the next 3 days talking 20 wickets. It's not that hard if you understand cricket...

trouble is, if a result is to happen, then this pitch better start breaking up from the concrete strip it is at the moment.

or else india's top order (who aren't in terrible form either) will just keep batting as well...

i love how our commentators start looking for the superlatives when our batters make runs, when the pitch is an absolute batters paradise...

i am willing to bet my leftie that if the ball was moving a bit, half those runs don't get scored...

Not sure who is more overrated that pair or kochsie.

A few years ago everyone was bagging the "old" commentary team, but based on comments here it seems that the late Mr Greig would well and truly be welcomed back from the grave should that highly unlikely event ever transpire.

It's a slow old day today.

They really need pitches with a bit more life.

Be no result in this game.

Watson picks up a couple of quick wickets. That'll keep him in the team for at least the next season...

cricket australia want tests to go for five days, hence the flat wickets.

all about the cash.

day 4 and we haven't even started the second innings for either team.  riveting.
