Good on CTEK.

Might have to send this on to the good people at Projecta and see if they value their customers

Nice will give Emma a call tomorrow as the little fella in my avatar took care of the battery clamps and ctek bag when I left the shed open a few months back.. If only only I had given him it at 9 weeks old like the koala Teddy bear that my 4year old gave him as it does not have any damage and he is like Maggie Simpson with it

Hi all,

Excuse my absence on the forum for the last few weeks. I realise much has happened during this time and I've been reading this post with a lot of interest!

As most of you are aware, I work on behalf of CTEK in Australia in a PR capacity. The purpose of contacting members of the forum is to acknowledge CTEK's loyal supporters and to thank them for their ongoing support.

I just wanted to clarify that this is completely legit and I understand that some of you may be uncomfortable with providing your postal address. If anyone has any queries please don't hesitate to give me a call on 03 9863 7632. Look forward to speaking to all of you!

Cheers,
Emma

Its good to see someone willing to do the rite thing without a catch to it...

Nice work Emma, great to see a company standing behind its products this way

If my C/T wasn't kitted out, I'd definitely be taking you up on your offer.

In the meanwhile, I don't suppose you've got a mate who works at a brewery who would be interested in following Ctek's example, do you?

It's a long shot I know, but hey....  ;D

This may turn out to be a lesson for other businesses. Try and do something proactive and reward your customers quietly and the mob will call you a scam then plaster it across the forum for a week, then when they finally work out its not all tell you how good you are in the hope of something free. Good on you cteck, its a shame it went so badly for you.

Spot on darren.. Good post!!!
Maybe a lesson to be learned here for some members?
I' am sure they have no problem finding people to give free stuff to.

You get this alot in current world of internet. I don't think it's the best way to approach people from a business perspective, especially with no previous posts on the forum or an easy and visible attachment to the business being represented previously.

The OP asked if it was a scam, from all appearances, you would think so, until you dug further and saw there were others that have received and been involved in the process. This thread has helped to highlight the position of Emma and her relationship. I'm sure being a PR representative she can handle a little concern over the legitimacy of the offer in a public forum.
