Title: Returning to the fold
Post by: Aussie70 on November 19, 2025, 12:21:49 PM
Hi all
When you are retiring, selling a house, buying a new one, keeping the Tigerz11 roof top tent and the Modcon Grandeur Camper and buying a hybrid van, retiring the Cruiser, buying a BT50........doesn't time get away on you.
Anyway....we sold at Lowood and moved to Gayndah. (Liking the Gayndah area).
We toured the Snowies and the Vic high country in the rear fold Modcon Camper....in winter. That and 1/2" of ice inside on the camper roof got the wife stating.. we need a van. We now have a Star vision PX3 added to the stable. So now it's RTT if I take the boat. Camper for some remote areas I like and the van for general touring.
All suit their purpose.
It's like everyone that has retired says..... I don't know how I ever found time to go to work.

Cheers
Peter

My criteria for a van was outside kitchen.....
This thing fits the bill.

I don't know why we can't run a  trailer behind the van.
Rooftop tent, van or camper with the boat behind that. I don't see a problem., 😕
