Did have a quick look but couldn't see it elsewhere, but 50k and by the looks of things, about 20k deposits, it sounds like a recipe for a successful business given the comparitavely minimal camper materials required.

but yea sounds like that Qld company that went toes up years back - exact same with asking for huge deposits and just disappering
Some people paid the full amount up front. They were in finacial trouble back in 2016 but kept going.

This should serve as a lesson to all people when it comes to purchasing anything of substantial value. A deposit is no more than confirming an intention to purchase. My policy is 10% deposit is fair enough, 20% is OK but the limit, anything over this and I walk away. I don't mind a fair deposit as a commitment to purchase but I'm not there to provide operating capital to a business.
