Hello All,
Just wondering on pros & cons for choosing "the" colour of canvas
Thanks in advance :)

When I bought ours years ago they said Blue, Red or Green is good for the sides as they give privacy at night when the internal lights are on.
pick what you like.. like anything lighter colours get dirtier and hard to clean
Ours is camel coloured... can't see even shadows through it at night so I think may be more about quality of canvass than colour. Lighter colours are not so hot in summer or when camped out in the sun...
Ours also has a little red dust around some of the seams but generally very clean for spending most of it's life travelling across desert country. Whatever takes your fancy I guess.

agree
Get the same colour as red dirt, because once that stuff is on the canvas it doesn't come off.
We have proven a few times that March flies like blue canvas campers. I would rule out blue. Either that or our mates with the blue camper are filthy buggers.
It's true about the March flies, went down the swampy plains river on air beds & they were attracted to the blue air beds.
Khaki......same colour as KK's. A good neutral colour and about the best for not showing dirt.
Ours is a combo grey and red (well reddish)
Our Sturt has red/brown and green panels on the walls, and a darkish creme (still a fairly light shade) on the roof.
I reckon that's a good combo, as the dark walls don't show dirt/marks very much, and the lighter coloured roof is a bit cooler in the direct sun.
All of the canvas is pretty heavy so light transmission isn't really a factor.
That said, in the summer, the heat coming through the roof gets me out of bed before the brightness worries me.

I was going to say Camouflage that way you won't see any dirt on it ;D ;D Be aware the darker the colour the hotter they get but as Symon says they do get dirty.
